RECORDS
FAMU High (9-4), next game in District Championship at Godby, May 3, 7:00 p.m.
Chiles (10-3), season complete

Chiles’ rally fell just short as the Timberwolves lost to FAMU High 20-14 in the District Tournament semi-finals held at Godby. Chiles opened the scoring taking their first drive into the end zone. Alle Auringer completed all six pass attempts on the drive and scored the touchdown herself on a five yard run. The game turned into a defensive struggle with FAMU High scoring a touchdown on an Erin Turral run in the second quarter to get within one point of Chiles at halftime. The Baby Rattlers converted a pair of interceptions in the third quarter to take a two score lead. The Timberwolves finally scored again in the fourth quarter on a great catch and run by Dorian Simpkins. However, the Chiles offense could not put the ball in the end zone on their last possession. The T’Wolves defense was lead again by Morgan May who had a school record 12 flag pulls for the game and ending the season with 83 pulls, another school record. Jamielle Lawson chipped in with two sacks while Gabby Vergara had an interception.
