Mattie Townley scored the first two touchdowns of the game with short receptions from quarterback Allee Auringer, the second score set up by a 45 yards interception return by Brianna Caines to the Jaguar one yard line. The Chiles’ defense once again dominated the action causing seven interceptions, three by Gabby Vergara, two by Morgan May, and one each by Belle McCreless and Caines. May, Kiki Hicks, and McCreless lead the defense with six flag pulls each. Jamielle Lawson recorded the game’s only sack. The Timberwolves play next on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at Godby vs. FAMU High in the first round of the District Tournament.
