Strong Offense Not Enough as Chiles Timberwolves Falls to Atlantic Coast…..

Chiles Timberwolves bats were strong against Atlantic Coast on Wednesday, but wasn’t enough as Chiles Timberwolves fell 8-6.

Atlantic Coast took early lead in the second inning. Atlantic Coast scored one run on a stolen base in the second inning.

Atlantic Coast took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth #23 singled off Erin O’Leary, driving in one run and #22 singled off of O’Leary, driving in one run.

Chiles Timberwolves scored four runs in the third inning. Chiles Timberwolves big inning was driven by a double by Caroline Jacobsen and a home run by Sierra Jevyak.

#10 earned the win for Atlantic Coast. She threw seven innings, surrendering six runs, 11 hits, striking out two, and walking zero. O’Leary took the loss for Chiles Timberwolves. She went seven innings, surrendering eight runs, 12 hits, striking out two, and walking one.

Home run for Atlantic Coast came when #14 homered in the seventh inning and #9 homered in the third inning.

Chiles Timberwolves had 11 hits in the game. Jevyak, Maegan Tomlinson, Jacobsen, and Amaya Gainer each collected multiple hits for Chiles Timberwolves. Tomlinson and Jevyak each managed three hits to lead Chiles Timberwolves. Chiles Timberwolves was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.

Great season, Lady Timberwolves. Ending the season 21-6. Super proud of this young ladies!!
