Despite seeing its five-run lead whittled down by the end, Chiles Timberwolves Varsity still held off Atlantic Coast for a 6-4 victory on Wednesday. Atlantic Coast scored three runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Kennedy Searcy in the second, a error in the third, and a triple by Ivy Sellers in the fifth.

The Lady Timberwolves grabbed an early lead. Chiles Timberwolves Varsity scored on a error, a walk by Isabella Howard, a walk by Ashlynn Pauwels, and a triple by Kelsey Mead in the first inning.

Dani Bauer was credited with the victory for the Lady Timberwolves. She went seven innings, allowing four runs on nine hits and striking out six.
