The Chiles flag football team opened the 2019 season with a 27-6 road victory over Wakulla. Sam Wilson, making her first varsity start at quarterback, completed 16 of 20 passes for 214 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Timberwolves offense. Rachel Myrick was on the receiving end of three of those touchdown passes while Lawton Campbell caught the other scoring pass. Myrick also lead Chiles with 34 rushing yards. After missing out on an early scoring opportunity, Chiles scored on a 22 yard pass from Wilson to Myrick. Those two teamed up again in the second and fourth quarters while Campbell scored in the third quarter as Chiles scored once in each quarter. The ladies are back in action on Thursday at Godby. The game begins at 7:00.
