Amaya Gainer did the opposing team no favors on Wednesday, picking up four hits over four at bats and leading Chiles Timberwolves to a 13-3 win over Atlantic Coast. Gainer singled in the first, singled in the third, and singled in the fifth.

Chiles Timberwolves secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by the Lady Timberwolves was led by Caroline Jacobsen, Lamari White, Molly Hennessy, Maegan Tomlinson, Gainer, and Jacobsen, all driving in runs in the inning.

Dani Bauer was the winning pitcher for Chiles Timberwolves. She lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out five and walking zero.

The Lady Timberwolves collected 16 hits on the day. Gainer, Tomlinson, White, Jacobsen, and Sierra Jevyak all collected multiple hits for Chiles. Gainer went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Timberwolves in hits. The Timberwolves didn’t commit a single error in the field.
